1. What was the most memorable aspect of your stay at Kasbari?

I’ll always remember how welcoming the Kasbari team was. Whether it be helping you navigate some local errand or coming up with inclusive house events and activities, Anis and Colette were always eagerly over-delivering.

2. Tell us about the cultural experiences and interactions you had while staying in Morocco.

I spent most of my time on the coast around Tamgraht, and enjoyed expeditions up the coast toward Imsouane to see stunning vistas and impressive surf. Visiting the bustling souk of Marrakech is also an absolute must. I would advise spending time in Tangier, either on your way in or out of the city. It serves as a great gateway to the country as you can see how European influence merges with the Maghreb. Getting lost in the rabbit warrens of the medina led to so many fantastic interaction with locals.

3. As a digital nomad, how was your experience?

I was nervous about going to a relatively rural area in a country I’d never visited. I needn’t have been, because the connectivity and facilities were top notch. I was able to feels safely connected to my work while still feeling somewhat off the grid in the village of Tamraght.

4. What advice would you give to someone considering working from Kasbari?

Take advantage of the communal spaces. You’ll find great people to share your workday with and develop a great sense of family.

5. In one sentence, how would you describe the overall atmosphere and vibe at Kasbari?

Kasbari gives a great sense of community and comfort. I’ll always remember late nights on the beautiful rooftop terrace, playing games and having wonderful chats with not only Moroccans, but people from all over the world.
